JH Semiconductor has completed intake inspection and listing of the Inspur NF5488A7 AI training server — a 4U system carrying eight NVIDIA H100 SXM5 GPUs with full NVLink 4.0 interconnect, 2TB of DDR5 memory and high-performance NVMe SSDs as standard.

Intake and Inspection

In mid-April 2026, JH Semiconductor completed intake inspection of the Inspur NF5488A7 AI training server. The system uses a 4U rack-mount design, carries eight NVIDIA H100 SXM5 GPUs and dual Intel Xeon processors, supports a full NVLink 4.0 interconnect topology, ships with 2TB of DDR5 memory and multiple high-performance NVMe SSDs as standard, and supports 400GbE high-speed networking.

Why SXM and NVLink

Compared with PCIe add-in cards, SXM modules let GPUs run at higher power levels and connect all eight cards through NVLink in a full-mesh topology. Large-model training commonly relies on tensor parallelism and pipeline parallelism, in which GPUs must exchange gradients and activations frequently — inter-GPU interconnect bandwidth typically becomes the bottleneck before single-card compute does, and that is precisely where an eight-GPU fully interconnected system earns its place. Inside the chassis, the large DDR5 memory pool and NVMe SSDs handle data pre-processing buffering, training-data loading and checkpoint writes respectively — indispensable supporting roles in a training platform, and ones that align with the service scope of JH Semiconductor's memory and enterprise SSD businesses.

Availability

The system is suited to large-scale AI model training and high-performance computing. It has completed system entry, and JH Semiconductor can provide configuration consulting and quotes based on a customer's model scale and network environment.
