JH Semiconductor has completed intake inspection and listing for a batch of enterprise NVMe SSDs, including Samsung PM9A3 and Micron 9400 series models in U.2 and E1.S form factors, with capacities from 1.92TB to 15.36TB.

Intake Status

In early February 2026, JH Semiconductor completed intake inspection and warehousing for a batch of enterprise NVMe SSDs. The batch includes models such as the Samsung PM9A3 and Micron 9400 series, spanning both U.2 2.5-inch and E1.S form factors, with capacities ranging from 1.92TB to 15.36TB and support for PCIe Gen4/Gen5 interfaces. The products have completed system entry and bin allocation and are open for customer orders.

How the Two Form Factors Divide the Work

U.2 is the most widely adopted 2.5-inch enterprise SSD form factor: it is compatible with existing server backplanes and convenient for deployment and hot-swap maintenance on general-purpose platforms. E1.S is a short ruler-style specification designed for high-density 1U servers and cloud data centers, offering advantages in cooling and capacity density per unit of space, and is widely used in OCP-style cloud platforms. Covering both form factors in one batch makes it easier to match different customers' server models and deployment approaches.

Target Workloads

These products are aimed primarily at AI training clusters and high-performance computing. Data loading and checkpoint writes in training jobs are sensitive to storage IOPS and latency, while high-capacity single drives help control slot count and power overhead at the cluster level. JH Semiconductor develops its own enterprise SSDs alongside its storage supply-chain services, and continuously tracks the specification evolution and field feedback of mainstream enterprise models.
