Huawei Ascend 950P Servers Enter Volume Delivery as China's AI Computing Ecosystem Matures

According to industry sources, Huawei plans to deliver more than 5,000 Ascend 950P AI servers in 2026, building out the Ascend AI ecosystem with partners such as Inspur and H3C. Huawei Digital Power also appeared at the 2026 Open AI Infra Summit with an 800V DC power delivery system for AI data centers. The full Atlas lineup (Atlas 800T training servers, Atlas 800I inference servers, FusionServer Pro) now forms a complete domestic AI computing solution.

Ascend 950P in Volume Delivery

2026 marks an important milestone for Huawei's Ascend AI ecosystem. According to industry sources, Huawei plans to deliver more than 5,000 Ascend 950P AI servers in 2026. The Ascend 950P is Huawei's latest-generation AI training server, powered by the Ascend 910C AI processor, with per-system compute more than 50% higher than the previous generation.

The Ascend 950P has completed distributed-training validation for mainstream large models such as DeepSeek V4, demonstrating excellent linear scaling in thousand-accelerator cluster training scenarios. Several provincial-level intelligent computing center projects have already adopted the Ascend 950P as their core compute platform.

Huawei Digital Power: An 800V DC Power Delivery System

In April 2026, Huawei Digital Power appeared at the Open AI Infra Summit with an 800V DC power delivery system designed for AI data centers (AIDC). Huawei's chief technology expert for data center energy observed that the AI wave is accelerating the energy transition — "the end of computing power is electric power."

Compared with conventional 240V/380V schemes, the 800V DC system raises power distribution efficiency by 2-3 percentage points while sharply reducing busbar cross-sections and distribution cabinet volume, better matching the high power density of AI data centers.

Huawei's Atlas series now forms a complete product matrix covering training, inference, and edge computing: Atlas 800T (training server with eight Ascend 910 processors), Atlas 800I (inference server, optimized for high-density deployment), FusionServer Pro (general-purpose AI server), and Atlas 900 PoD (hyperscale AI cluster solution).
